"Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all"
Aims to achieve universal literacy and numeracy by providing children and young people with quality and easily accessible education among other learning opportunities, including technical, vocational and higher education. Its targets include elimination of all discrimination in education and ensuring education for sustainable development. It recognises the need for inclusive and upgraded educational facilities to provide safe and effective learning environments for all, and for an increased supply of qualified teachers in developing countries.
