Aims at eradicating all forms and dimensions of extreme poverty, including the lack of food, clean drinking water, and sanitation, and reducing overall poverty by 50% by means of social protection systems and provision of basic services and economic resources at reduced or no cost. The Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) is used as a metric for research into the nature and composition of poverty. The goal involves targeting and supporting the most vulnerable communities affected by conflict and climate-related disasters.
